A Life That Glorifies God

Light is the life that shines in the day and shines in the night. Gen. 1:1-5; John 1:1-3. The  great light rules the day and the lesser light rules the night. Jesus Christ is the light that cannot be overcome by darkness, however dark it might be. The knowledge of the glory of God is the light that glorifies God. 2 Cor. 4:4-6.
When the light of God’s glory shines on us, it makes our life to be like the day. We know the glory of God through the light that shines on us. This light is exemplified when we display to others the life of God, His attributes and His benevolence.
The light that shines the right way is the life that teaches fools and people who still need to learn. We cannot shine God’s glory when we are not clean from the inside. Phil. 2:15.
How we encounter this life:
1. By believing on Jesus Christ as the Son of God that came into the world to save us from our sins. John 1:12; Rom. 1:28;6:6.
2. By being united with Christ and becoming His own. Col. 2:10; 2 Cor. 5:17.
3. By seeing and consciously carrying Jesus on the cross in our minds daily. Lk. 9:23.
