We are the instruments that God has prepared for His use. He has given to us all that we need to be what He wants us to be. Most importantly, He has given us the Holy Spirit to help us. The Holy Spirit fellowships with us and empowers us to be instruments of power in God’s hands.
We receive the Holy Spirit by faith with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Acts 2:3. Speaking in tongues is the prayer language the Holy Spirit has brought with Him to empower us with. It energises our spirit, because we communicate directly with God. The Scriptures tell us that ‘he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God; For no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries’. 1 Cor. 14:2. However, consistency is the key to maintaining the flow of the supernatural.
Speaking in tongues is the means by which we enforce the will of God in any situation. The enemy cannot resist the influence of the Holy Spirit. The sick are healed and people are delivered from the tyranny of Satan. Acts 5:16. Peter and John gave themselves continually to prayer. As a result, they were able to heal the lame man at the beautiful gate. There is no limit to what God can do through a man that seeks Him continually by praying in the Spirit. “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit”. Ephesians 5;18.
